More and more iPad users are wanting to use their iPads for creation as well as consumption. And a large majority of users do not find the iPad Virtual Keyboard all that productive!
Enter the world of iPad keyboard cases – such as the Brydge we reviewed earlier or the ZAGGfolio.
However, another major group of users want a top quality external keyboard, as opposed to a keyboard case. And the leader of the pack in this area of the market is the Apple Wireless Keyboard. But, great though this keyboard is, the retail price of $69.00 may be on the high side for occasional use.
So, we checked out the SANOXY Bluetooth Keyboard for iPad, which at $17.00, suggested that it not be too brilliant – but we were really surprised! The SANOXY – details here - SANOXY on Amazon is actually very good – nice build quality, positive key action and is almost indistinguishable from the real thing – see here -
The SANOXY is actually more functional than the Apple Wireless Keyboard in that it has dedicated iPad keys for Home, Lock, Search and Sleep keys.
The SANOXY also can be used as a regular Bluetooth keyboard for a Mac Mini, iMac, Macbook and probably Windows devices.
So – while many (most?) Chinese knockoffs may be a bit sketchy – we recommend the SANOXY and use a few of them in our offices.
